THE LANDING

The Landing is Northern Colorado’s first and only overnight shelter for unaccompanied minors and transition-age youth ages 15-20; the only licensed youth shelter north of Denver; and one of just two youth shelters in Colorado. The space provides shelter for up to 28 overnight guests, along with meals, mental health services, daily resource needs, and community building. The development is a partnership between the Thompson School District in Loveland and The Matthews House, a local nonprofit empowering youth and families through connection, self-efficacy, and independence.
